🌍 Think Global. Build African.
Gideon evaluates businesses for a living. A private equity investor at Florac, he previously worked at Ares Management, with earlier stints at Goldman Sachs and PJT Partners, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Oberlin College, where he ran the school's $550,000 student-managed investment fund. He founded Africans Who Invest because the knowledge he uses every day too often fails to reach the young people who need it most, and he was the organization's first investor: for its first four years, AWI ran on his own paycheck. Forty-six Fellows later, with alumni across Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, that conviction is translating into real impact.
